Acoat Selected, the international network of top-flight bodyshops using Sikkens repair systems, has expanded. New members of the Acoat Network include the successful Seward Accident Repair Group, Richmond Motors Group and Spraytech.
The Acoat name has become a worldwide emblem of excellence for those in the car repair industry, universally recognised by work providers including insurance companies and leasing companies.
As one of England’s leading accident repair groups, south coast based Seward is a fast growing enterprise dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint. MD Ian Clark commented “We pride ourselves on being able to evolve with the market and look forward to exploring further opportunities with Acoat by our side,” Ian said “We have worked closely with Sikkens in the past number of months and have found their services and products to be exemplary, including their environmentally responsible waterborne range.”
Richmond Motors Group, provider of quality accident repairs, vehicle rental and car and commercial servicing, returned to Acoat this January following the RBS approval. Commenting on the dynamics of the body repair industry, Richmond’s MD Ray Bradnock said “The field we are in is highly competitive and forward thinking and organisation is key. We operate to the highest standards and adopt worthwhile business initiatives when they come up. Recently we achieved the PAS125 kitemark and are looking forward to listening to more business development ideas from Acoat at our forthcoming first meeting”.
Spraytech is an ambitious accident repair centre set to be one of the largest in London. Although a recent member of the Acoat network, MD Harry Charles is delighted to have been invited to join, and sees working more closely with Sikkens as an opportunity for Spraytech. “Being part of Acoat will enable us to meet with other repairers, and will open a variety of industry doors for us,” he said. “We’ll definitely benefit from the advice and training on offer”.
Other bodyshops to join the network include Merthyr Tydfil based Woodlands Garage and additional sites from Caversham Coachworks.
