Akzo Nobel Coatings Ltd has announced that it has been named the preferred paint supplier by Aquilo Motor Services Limited, a leading comprehensive claim management and motor repair service, to its accident repair network of UK body shops.
Aquilo provides a complete motor claims and repair management service including fraud detection, in-house engineering capabilities, pro-active third party capture programme, uninsured loss recovery service and salvage disposal via e-salvage. Akzo Nobel will be supporting their repair network through the provision of paint and associated services.
“We expect that the new partnership with Akzo Nobel will allow us to make long term improvements to our repair network and achieve consistent, high quality results,” commented Peter Fairhurst, Technical Services Manager, Aquilo.
Another factor in the decision was Akzo Nobel’s new UV clearcoat, Autoclear UV, which speeds throughput, thus reducing repair turnaround.
