Akzo Nobel has announced that to comply with new EU legislation concerning VOC levels, all Sikkens ‘A’ component product labels will carry new coding showing the VOC content in the following format:-   

2004/42/llb(C)(540)534

In the above coding 20004/42/llb refers to the EU Directive Number, (C) refers to the Category (C = Primer), (540) refers to the maximum VOC and 534 is the Ready For Use VOC.

This change will be rolled out over the coming months to all relevant Sikkens compliant product range labels.
