Following the promotion of Kevin Nineham to UK Country Manager in 2007, Akzo Nobel has appointed Carl Haythornthwaite to the position of UK Sales Manager.

Carl joins the company from distributor Carlac and has over 30 years industry experience including 17 years with ICI and PPG where he held a variety of roles including Key Accounts Manager, UK Training Manager and Regional Sales Manager. At Carlac, Carl was Regional Business Manager, responsible for sales and logistics.
